Rebuild
Pool repair and rebuilds, Brownsburg
Pump motors, valves and filters at the counter, acid wash, caulk and repaint on the pool, and full rebuilds when the walls are done.
What wears out first
On a pool that has been running for years, the equipment goes first. One customer, Greg Riazzi, had Barker’s service his pump motor, his multiport valve and his sand filter over the 22 years after they installed his pool.
Then the pool itself gets its turn. He wrote: “This year we had the pool acid washed/caulked/repainted.” Caulk joints and paint wear on every pool eventually. Liner pools can also end up with tired steel walls, and that job is a rebuild.

Bring the part, or call from the deck
A failing pump motor or a leaking valve can come to the counter at 1565 East Main in Brownsburg, where the same store sells pumps and filters. If the exact part isn’t in stock, they will order it and have it delivered quickly.
For the bigger work, call (317) 852-8979 and describe what the pool is doing. The BARKERS General Contractor panel on the street sign is there for a reason: pool rebuilds are part of the business, and the store has been family owned and operated since 1980.
Signs to watch, and when to call again
A pressure gauge that creeps up between cleanings, a valve that weeps, sand turning up in the water, and stains or failing caulk are all worth showing someone before the season starts, not halfway through it. Sand in the pool can point at the filter or the multiport valve.
Opening and closing the pool are natural moments to check the equipment pad. Bring a question or a sample to the counter in Brownsburg and get a straight answer before a small fault turns into a rebuild.
